Hermann Kümmerly (1857-1905) became famous for his Swiss school wall map of 1896. He also finished some very impressive topographic maps, among others "Evolena - Zermatt - Monte Rosa" (1892) and the school wall map of the Canton of Grisons (1902). Kümmerly was also the owner of "Kümmerly und Frey" cartographic company.
